HARRISBURG, June 29 -- State Rep. Babette Josephs, D-Phila., announced an internship partnership opportunity between emerging technology businesses and Pennsylvania's students.
The Technology Work Experience Internship Program gives Pennsylvania students an opportunity to get real-world experience while companies get reimbursed for 50 percent of the interns' wages.
"This program is a win-win situation," Josephs said. "Students get invaluable experience and companies that would not ordinarily be able to offer such opportunities can have a part in shaping our future workforce."

The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency administers the program and the wages are reimbursed through funds provided to approved post-secondary institutions.
